Teacher Majer is lured by his friend to an old farmhouse, where a hitman hired by the last surviving member of the Dostál family is waiting for him. Meanwhile, everyone is waiting for Majer at the newly opened school, which he is supposed to manage. All of his former students wait in vain for Majer; he never arrives. No one understands what has happened, and above all, where the man is on whom they are now completely dependent, each for a different reason. They begin to fear that something has happened to Majer, and so the four “bravest” among them decide to find him.

Do you have dreams? Any unfulfilled wishes? A group of retirees set out on a trip to fulfill them and reminisce about their younger years working at the municipal spa. Kňoura, Josefa, Janata, Kačera, and grandson Tomáš are in for a trip they will never forget. A helicopter flight, sleeping under the stars, dinner at a posh restaurant, a race with a Formula 1 driver, but also fun on the merry-go-round.

The film tells the story of the relationship between a mentally disabled uncle and his nephew, whom fate brings together at a certain moment, gradually forming a bond between them that is a demonstration of the strength and "power" of friendship. This is then put to the test by those who, for various reasons, try to separate them. Among other things, the film is a confrontation between the two main, innocent protagonists and those who lost their innocence long ago and are guided primarily by what can benefit them, often at any cost.

Patients flock to the newly opened "slimming" sanatorium with the aim of losing weight. And although each of them has a different reason for doing so, they are all now undergoing the most bizarre procedures and exercises under the supervision of an ascetic head physician, all without food, alcohol, or sex. For most of them, this makes their stay at the sanatorium a nightmare. Jedlík's characters are romantic and foolish, funny and touching, and none of them lack a sense of humor. They are all guided by love, for people, things, work, and, of course, food, and each of them ultimately finds it.

Former classmates meet after sixty years at a school reunion, undoubtedly their last, face to face with their classmate Miluška Bínová. Bínová, once the most popular classmate, returns to her hometown after many years, determined to find out which of her classmates ruined her life back then.
