Zack, a young boy, finds two Cocker Spaniels caged in the woods and takes them home. The animals, Sissy and Buddy, have magical healing powers that change the people of a small town.

C.J. and Hanna become the greatest of friends when the latter visits the former on the ranch where she lives, with the purpose of photographing the horses for her school project. The two unearth a secret plot which may put the mustangs in danger.

The Grizzly Scouts are about to hold their William Tell badge trials when Eddie discovers a secret about the town's richest, most popular family, whose son also happens to be Eddie's bully and the favorite to win the contest. Eddie devises a plan with newcomers Deena and her two brothers in order to try and make things right.
