Kristina Bitkulova

Denis Chuzhoy’s new stand-up special. It’s called “Football Manager.” There’s one bit about the game Football Manager, but don’t worry — the rest of the material is about mental health, relationships, and a little bit about death.

This is my third stand-up concert. I started writing it in quarantine when I watched Pavel Volya's monologue. All the other thoughts about how to be a man in the modern world, how to live after thirty-three years (and whether it's worth it) arose around him. In general, my usual set of topics plus Pavel Volya.

The new special by Denis Chuzhoy is both a story about life in forced emigration and a reflection on what is happening in Russia right now. With the ability to find humor in the gloomy, Chuzhoy jokes about how not to lose oneself in a foreign country, what to do with depression, and why it is not worth relying on food delivery when learning a new language.

I like that this special turned out exactly like this — funny, chaotic, sometimes a bit sad, with some swearing, and at times very personal. It might not be perfectly polished according to all the “rules” of the genre, but it perfectly reflects how I’ve been feeling over the past few years. Stand-up has always helped me get through tough times, so I hope that for you too (through me) it can do the same: make you laugh, help you switch off, maybe even make you think. Take whatever you want from it — the main thing is, no negativity!

The second stand-up special of the rising comedy star Kristina Bitkulova. With the "What's the Difference" program, she visited eight countries, and the single itself was recorded in Kazakhstan. In her speech, Kristina talks about aerophobia and childhood injuries, and also tries to figure out how to keep your mind in emigration.

"Self-Assessment" is Denis Chuzhoy's fifth single. In it, the comedian talks about accepting himself, a hellish carousel of constant moving, and recalls how FSB fans came to his concerts. It also explains why one good immigration lawyer can replace five years of therapy.

Kristina Bitkulova's new stand-up comedy is an honest and funny account of life in exile, marriage, and the most awkward situations. What was wrong with namaz in Istanbul? How did "Cargo 200" ruin a marriage proposal? Why is a wedding in Khimki a genre unto itself? And what are the dangers of a husband's snoring?

Second stand-up concert by Denis Chuzhoy was called “Jokes about Death” for a long time, but closer to the shooting it became clear that it was more about family. So it ended up with a less offensive title. But more truthful. After all, stand-up is when truth and harshness, as they say in the project "Women's stand-up". Our childhood traumas remain with us forever. And you can live with them. Even write almost 50 minutes of jokes about them."
