Tap the Super 8 reel itself to use it as a film camera using a pinhole device technique. With an aluminum plate over the window that allows 6 frames of film to be seen, and with a hand-slided shutter, light bathes the film through the holes. A search to capture another type of movement.

In early 2020, MUTA - International Festival of Audiovisual Appropriation and Cine Íntimo rescued and digitised a Peruvian archive of orphaned 8mm and Super 8 home movies. With the aim of restoring these lost memories, we sent the images around the world. This omnibus film is the result of the intervention of this material, by 14 experimental filmmakers. Fourteen perspectives and ways of experiencing appropriation. Fourteen variations on the intimate.

A passing between inside and out. Two spaces that I inhabit and that coexist in the same timeline through camera montage. I film a 360º portrayal of Tierno Galvan park in Madrid, leaving frames unexposed throughout the film. Later, manually rewinding the film to the start, I return to the black frames to portray the interior of my room.

It all starts with the disturbing image of a heart as a symbol of life, along with a compulsive rhythm of systole and diastole. Both serving as engine for starting to delve into the family memories, the social conventions, the existence and its opposite. Produced and edited, quite literally, with an open heart.

A journey through different processes of capturing light using pinhole cameras (pinhole camera in Super 8 format), accompanied by a cassette recorder during the director residency at Nanolab (Daylesford, Australia). It represents a step between the interior and the exterior, between moving forward and going back. It is about the space the director inhabit, the one she walk through and capture over and over again.

Through videos recorded with night cameras, it seeks to enter a foreign body and experience its journey between waiting and kidnapping, developing an attention to our own cognitive process.
