The Glow of Sunset in Asuka: A Saga of Soga no Iruka

In the late 630's in Asuka, Soga no Kuratsukuri, who was born the son and heir of the powerful minister Soga no Emishi, is now grown up and regarded as one of the best and brightest to manage the imperial government. He is studying hard at the T'ang Dynasty. This school is reserved for the sons of nobles and influential families such as Prince Karu, Ishikawamaro, Prince Yamasiro no Oe, Prince Furuhito and Nakatomi no Kamatari. They are earnestly studying Chinese thought and political doctrine in the hope of carrying out governmental reforms in Yamato. Among all the others, Kuratsukuri and Kamatari are regarded as excellent and treated with deference. However, Kuratsukuri is the heir of the head family of the Soga clan, whereas Kamatari was born into a family of rather lowly status. The family is in charge of affairs pertaining to the Shinto religion. The two men are naturally quite different in political standing, and Kamatari is secretly jealous of Kuratsukuri.

Yukariko

The time is the Azuchi-Momoyama Period. While Yukariko is a woman, she is by nature masculine and, as she was raised in a family with no heir, she learned general martial arts. Then an unexpected story is told to Yukariko, whose father died suddenly. It is said that because Yukariko is the daughter of the daimyo of Aki, and twins with the current feudal lord, she was given to an adoptive family in secret. As a matter of fact her brother the feudal lord, Midorio, is ill, and in order that the other provinces may not know, she is told that he wants her to serve as his substitute....

In 1920, in the United States of America, a publication party is being held in a luxury hotel in New York for Shannon McNeil who has made her debut as a fairy tale author. Congressional candidate Patrick Gael comes to the hotel to celebrate the start of his election campaign. In the end of Meiji era, Takei Chiyo was born in a poor family in Osaka, and was sent to a theatre tea room as a servant when she was 9 years old. There, she was attracted by the world of theatre comedy. She grows up to be an actor and marries to Amami Ippei , but the war broke out and she was forced to stay away from acting for a while. However, when she comes back again, her acting in a radio drama impresses many people and makes herself one of the leading actors in western Japan.

Worst to First: A Teen Baseball Miracle

Nagumo Shuuji, a social studies teacher at Mie Prefecture’s Etsuzan Senior High School, was a former baseball player up until university when he quit after sustaining an injury. Thereafter, he worked as a sports trainer but returned to university at 32 years old in order to pursue his dream of becoming a teacher. However, his peaceful daily life goes through a change after he’s appointed to be the advisor of his school’s baseball club that is on the verge of abolition.

Great Gift

An original medical murder mystery surrounds an unknown killer coccus (bacteria), that leaves no trace in the victim's body, which enables it to be used as the perfect weapon to kill. Fujimaki Tatsuomi is a pathologist working at the Pathlogy department at Meikyo Medical University Hospital. He's looked down upon by the other staff around him, and his relationship with Maho his wife, a former nurse, has cooled down. After a patient's suspicious death, he makes a new discovery; when the deadly bacteria "Gift" invades the body, the patient soon dies, but the "Gift" leaves no trace thereafter, enabling it to be used as the perfect weapon to kill. As a result of this discovery, Fujimaki's life dramatically changes. While searching for a way to treat his ailing wife's heart disease, he becomes embroiled in a conspiracy surrounding the killer bacteria "Gift."

School Cop

Tatsuya Fujiwara plays a talented detective who trades hardened criminals for troubled teenagers. Oshi wo Meshiagare: Koho Girl no Maroyakana Hibi

While Yuzu Hodaishi (Riho Sayashi) tried to find a decent job, she became hooked on a novel about yoghurt and became a big fan of the bacteria lactobacillus bulgaricus that appeared in the novel. Meanwhile, I is a lactobacillus bulgaricus and sees Yuzu Hodaishi. I jump out of the package of yoghurt and follow her as an invisible presence. After a year of trying to find a job, Yuzu Hodaishi finally gets hired by a food company in Meiwa and gets assigned to work for the company in Osaka. At first, she worked with the supermarket staff, but she was transferred to the PR department at the head office in Osaka. Her senior there is Itsumi Midori (Rio Asumi). Yuzu Hodaishi struggles with her life in unfamiliar Osaka and also her work in the PR department. She then gets assigned to work on a magazine article for Meiwa Yogurt's 50th anniversary.
