The feature documentary film dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. The film highlights the events that took place on the last days of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

This story of two temperamentally different brothers takes place in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku during the 1970s. The elder brother Jalil is a married postal worker who keeps bees as a hobby. Younger brother Simurg is more adventurous by nature and capable of going after his goals, not just dreaming about them. Jalil has a recurring memory: once, when he was still a kid, his mother, pregnant with Simurg, took him to a women’s sauna. When both brothers fall in love for the same beautiful girl, their differences become apparent once again.

The series tells the story of two different families and their complex relationships with each other. The main plot is based on the love of young people named Orkhan and Sema, their dreams of marriage, and the obstacles they face on their way.

The film depicts the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The funny stories that happen to their close relatives and neighbors also form the plot of the series.

The documentary series "Tarixin divanı" explores critical turning points in Azerbaijani history, focusing on the ideological conflicts between prominent 20th-century figures like Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh and Nariman Narimanov. It highlights how internal struggles between nationalist and internationalist factions weakened the nation during the First World War and ongoing ethnic tensions. The final episodes shift back to the 18th and 19th centuries, analyzing the fragmentation of various Khanates following the decline of the Safavid and Afshar empires.
