Bi, a Vietnamese country girl, survives a brutal childhood and escapes to Saigon. There, she is recruited by the mysterious Mrs. Lin, who trains Bi and her new friends Thanh and Hong in killing and sensuality to take down Hai, a Saigon crime lord.

The film is set in the context of Christmas in the past and present. Mr. Gar - an "old man" who has nothing but money and loneliness, has always lived in the recollection of a time past, a wife who is far away ... The Sound of Vietnam is a Vietnamese music competition in which emerging and established artists compete for the chance to represent Vietnam at Eurovision Asia. Across a series of live performances, contestants showcase original songs blending contemporary pop with Vietnamese musical influences. A combination of jury scores and public voting determines which act will carry the Vietnamese flag onto the Eurovision Asia stage.
