Fast forward forty years after the war to Munich's Hofgarten, where in front of the patched-up ruins of the Army Museum, Herbert reappears, mistakenly believing he is still in Stalingrad, which the victorious Germans have destroyed and rebuilt in the image of Munich.

During his slow recovery at the hospital, Hoffmann must piece together his life and struggle to remember the events of that night.

They are surprised by a visit from their rich sister Nane, owner of the Hotel Sacher in Vienna: she wants to marry for the fifth time and this immediately causes alarm among the brothers. The future husband, Dr. Brösel, is put under the microscope.

A Case For Two

Ein Fall für zwei is a German television series, which premiered on September 11, 1981 on ZDF. The series, located in Frankfurt am Main, features two main characters who solve crimes: a defense attorney and a private investigator. Josef Matula, a former German police officer, has gone into private business. His method of investigation is very effective and direct, and he sometimes even resorts to dirty tricks. Claus Theo Gärtner has portrayed the role since the start of the series.

The Commissioner

Der Kommissar is a German television series about a group of detectives of the Munich homicide squad. All 97 episodes, which were shot in black-and-white and first broadcast between 1969 and 1976, were written by Herbert Reinecker and starred Erik Ode as Kommissar Herbert Keller. Keller's assistants were Walter Grabert, Robert Heines, and Harry Klein who, in 1974, was replaced by his younger brother Erwin Klein.

Master Eder and his Pumuckl

Pumuckl is a Kobold from a German radio play series for children. He is a descendant of the Klabautermänner. He is invisible to people around him except for the master carpenter Eder with whom Pumuckl lives. Pumuckl was invented by Ellis Kaut for a radio play series of the Bavarian Radio in 1961. Later on it was turned into a very successful TV series. Three movies and a musical also deal with the adventures of the little kobold. Pumuckl is one of the most popular characters in children's entertainment in Germany and several generations have now grown up with the cheeky but funny little Kobold.

Unser Lehrer Doktor Specht is a series of family author Kurt Bartsch, directors Werner Masten, Vera Loebner and Karin Hercher, shot from 1991 in Germany. The consequences had a length of 52 or 46 minutes. For subsequent repetitions of the consequences of the first season in about 45 minutes were cut.
