In 1936, Onodera Toshiko, who moved to Tokyo from Iwate, auditioned for the Moulin Rouge theater in Shinjuku to become a star. On the spot, she catches the attention of the manager and producer Sasaki Senri and the theater's leading actress Takanawa Yoshiko, and then she begins working as a theater's member. Based on the true story of Ashita Matsuko (明日待子), a popular Japanese idol in war period.

Toshiya (Yoshinori Masakado) graduated from an art college and works in Osaka. One day, he comes to Kyoto to visit his cousin Saki (Renbutsu Misako) and interacts with Saki and his friend Nao (Tamae Ando). He feels a little envious of Saki, who runs an antique shop in Kyoto and seems to live a free and easy life. As he visits small, nostalgic and sophisticated shops run by individuals and shops rooted in everyday life, he is comforted by Kyoto's nature, he begins to feel a desire to live in Kyoto himself...

The series will depict the trial and error and growth of the five members as a whole, as well as introduce a number of previously unreleased footage. In the long interviews with each member, previously untold "episodes only the members themselves know" will be revealed one after another.

The main characters of this story are eight high school boys who are in the so-called "Yarogumi", the only class which has only boys. Of course, there is no opportunity to interact with girls and the group has lost the ability to talk to them so, in order to get a girlfriend, the eight work hard to overcome their "illness", even though they always end up failing.

The variety show "Naniwa Kara Ae! Kaze Fukukasemasu!" aired from November 2019 to March 2021. Before their debut, Naniwa Danshi and Ae! group competed with each other and took on various projects in order to grow into the next generation of stars. In the space of three and a half years, both groups made their long-awaited CD debut. Now that they have left Kansai and are starting to make the Ae wind blow, a certain doubt has arisen...
