An intense friendship between Sara and Alisa comes to a strange and abrupt end after Sara opens up about urges beyond physical desire. Oppressed by her environment, Alisa becomes estranged, leaving Sara to struggle with solitude and repression which begins manifesting itself in a monstrous form.

After their father is conscripted during the 1999 NATO bombing of Serbia, three sisters begin a Hi8 video diary in their countryside home. They film each other putting on make-up, picking cherries, playing party games, getting into fights and helping their mother cook. This fragile, intimate world is perhaps their only shelter from the reality of bombings, sirens and war.

Marco is the only child in the village. His childhood is lonely, bored and focused on adults. That changes when he meets Lacho, Biber and Shotka, who came to help him in the fight for children's rights. Marco experiences adventure and the true joy of growing up.

A tropical fish shop in the East End of London, the last of what used to be many. Tiny, watery dramas inside fish tanks accompany the thoughts of local fish-keepers, while father and son Big Tel and Little Tel work to keep the shop alive.

The film tells a story about the blind and visually impaired people who introduce us to their way of life aided by sound, and with their reflections on the phenomenon of sound. It describes their emotions and how they differ from those of people with sight.
