Prasad and Nayan are happy to be with each other and also choose a separate house, but Prasad's uncle wants his sister Suman to get married first. Prasad decides to postpone his wedding and sacrifice his house by dropping his plans and uses the money for Suman's wedding. Prasad and Nayan get married soon and are living happily but cracks develop between his mother and Nayan which is never ending and takes worst turn when Suman comes to stay with them during her pregnancy.

Tatya's elder son Datta is married to Shanti who is cursed by villagers for being childless, his younger son Vaman is a drunkard and only frequents the village, Devaki his eldest daughter has left her husband's house and lives with him whose spoils the peace of the house.
