A Rose on Your Body tells the story of a mother who is always waiting for her child to come home from a demonstration in 1998 in the absence of certainty. In any way, the mother is looking for her child to get word. Every way he has done, radio, television, but the results never go according to expectations.

Yohanes’ life hangs by a thread as financial hardship leaves him unable to afford the medication for his heart condition. In his despair, he returns to the Field of Grace Church (Gereja Ladang Kasih), seeking healing and renewed hope. However, instead of solace, Yohanes discovers that the cure he longs for comes at a steep price. As his health continues to decline, he is faced with demands for sacrifices far beyond what he ever imagined.
