In the bleak winter landscape of Denmark, two social workers find a young woman, alone in the woods. But there is something troubling about her; she doesn't speak and her eyes fill everyone around her with angst. As her presence start to creep into everyone around her, they start to second guess, whether taking her away from the woods, was a good idea.

Christian and Malene are lovers. Although they are both only in their mid 20s, they have been a couple for a long time since they got together as teenagers. They have reached a point in life where a new phase has begun: adulthood. The pressure from their surroundings is starting to create doubt in both of them, and the question is whether they should be together at all.

Henry's European adventure takes an unexpected twist when he rents a room from Nora, a recently divorced playwright in Copenhagen. Nora and her mischievous pregnant friend Mimi plot a mysterious seduction.
