A left-wing ideologist reaches the limits of suicide, experiencing a deep crisis. He tries to write a book about everything that once existed, but has changed today. Everything around him seems distant. The friends, the family, the Party from which he withdrew. His hope for a different future is virtually dead.

Set during the Greek civil war. A villager is forced to leave his house and property and go to Thessaloniki with his daughter and son. They find refuge in an old building with hundreds of other people. They live a miserable life as the daughter becomes a whore, and the son has to work.

Who can forget the sore look of the gypsy. The mismatched love of a young architect with great ambitions and a beautiful gypsy just under twenty. A love that from birth carries, almost insurmountable obstacles, as it comes in complete contrast both with the "properly" environment of Antonis and with the marginal, but tightly closed to its own rules, world of Erato.

Another great success by Mirella Papaikonomou, which outlines in the most dramatic way the catalytic power of absence. The series is filmed, for the most part, in enchanting locations in Crete. The messes at his daughter's wedding party hide his plans. In the wake of the mantinades, Sifis packs his things and says goodbye to his wife after 22 years of marriage. The closed society of Chania is in uproar. And as she desperately demands "purification", his wife will search for the reasons that led Sifis to this decision. And while he is absent, Stathis, his close childhood friend, stands by his wife's side. Can the absence of a loved one prove worse than his presence? And how catalytic can this absence prove to be for people's relationships and emotions?

Love, the search for love, the desire for love... Three summers in the bright light of Attica, three sisters in their prime, Maria, Infanta, Katerina. Maria, the eldest, sensual, close to the mysteries of nature, Infanta, fiery but restrained in the face of love, Katerina, thirsty for independence, who chooses the dream. For her, the myth becomes reality, like the mysterious faces of the Polish grandmother and Captain Andreas. Katerina narrates these three summers with imagination, humor and immense tenderness, with a youthful grace that already has a touch of nostalgia.
