Directed by Paris-based filmmaker Joaquim Bayle, PRECIOUS builds on Carhartt WIP’s last full-length skate project INSIDE OUT, which was released in 2022. The name of the project derives from the delicate yet gruelling process of shooting tricks on film. “Now that I understand skateboarding a little more, I wanted to pay tribute to its subversive form, its poetic form,” says Bayle of the feature, describing a “precious feeling I had when I started skateboarding and which, as I have gotten older, I've tended to forget.” In encapsulating this, he employs a multi-sensory approach. Warm, gauzy footage is punctuated by shutter clicks and black and white photography. Quiet moments of reflection are interrupted by the sound of wheels on concrete. Softly spoken word drifts in and out of a soundtrack of sludge metal and synthwave.

Two vans, 16 people, multiple trips, ample passport stamps, and controlled, but productive, chaos, 7 Ball is the latest full-length orchestrated by London-based videographer Will Miles. An international video inspired by overachieving and escaping the winter, Will and a double-digit crew traveled for close to two years to create 7 Ball.

Documentary about the history and imminent demise of the Polo Grounds ballpark in New York. Hosted and narrated by actor Horace McMahon, it was filmed during the winter of 1964 at the now abandoned stadium. The film looked back at its history from its opening in the 19th century, to its glory years as the home of the New York Giants baseball team and its final two years as the home of the amazing (and not in good way) New York Mets - as well as other famous events that took place there, such as football contests and boxing matches.
