An aging trans woman dreams of becoming a real woman before she dies. Unfortunately, an old lover stole all the money he was saving so he could become a she instead. Miss Mona finally gets his chance to earn more cash when he meets a destitute young Arab, an illegal immigrant. The film chronicles Perceval's knighthood, maturation and eventual peerage amongst the Knights of the Round Table, and also contains brief episodes from the story of Gawain and the crucifixion of Christ.

The series follows the adventures of lighthearted Jean-Paul Moulin, a police Commissaire, and his team as they solve crimes.
