Upon arriving at a Catholic boarding school, the boy feels an antipathy to the religious practices the school imposes. However, students and teachers find the boy rather strange and harass him.

Tina (28) lives in what appears to be an idyllic marriage in town on the Adriatic coast. She is a housewife who takes care of their six-year-old daughter, while her husband Frane (32) provides for the family. Their relationship begins to change when Tina expresses her desire to complete the college education she had to abandon due to pregnancy. Despite initially consenting and supporting her, Frane starts showing disapproval, initially through minor acts of sabotage. Over time, conflicts become more frequent, and arguments turn increasingly violent.

Dramatic events unfold in Croatia and Ukraine. The first girl drowned, the second one died from a drug overdose. The main suspect in these deaths, however, soon turns out to be innocent - and dead too. While detective Vladimir and reporter Stribor struggle to solve these murders in Croatia, the niece of Olga, an Ukrainian philanthropist, goes missing in Kyiv.

A girl from Dalmatia, Lucija and Kruno a young lawyer from Zagreb, impulsively decided to get married, after only a month of acquaintance. They really start to know each other after the wedding, their lives get spiced up with many surprises. Lucija and Kruno are completely different in character and mentality: she is a carefree and cheerful Dalmatian, at the same time frivolous and superficial, he is more serious, more calm, but at the same time he's a panic who sees disaster in everything. When their distinctive relatives join in in the mix, it takes a lot of love and patience to overcome all the differences.
