An experimental-allegorical film. Three different people: a sculptress of funereal monuments, an actor preparing for Sophocles’ Antigone, and a mother who has lost her child, experience three different versions of reality - with a fourth character, a thief, providing the connecting link.

On the occasion of a theatrical performance, the tumultuous history of modern Greece is presented, from the Asia Minor Catastrophe to the invasion of Cyprus. In particular, the ways in which Greece's foreign protectors benefited from the disasters and trials of both our country and the wider Mediterranean and Balkan region are examined.

Two parallel stories complement each other. The first recounts the investigation of a journalist and an actress who, through a radio program, attempt to identify parallels between terrorist acts of the present and the past. The second takes us back to 1948 and describes the events that led to the murder of American journalist George Polk in Thessaloniki, guided by the investigation of the two protagonists and the testimonies of various individuals.

In the near future, when Athens is in danger of ecological catastrophe, a mysterious man, a young hacker and a washed out singer become entangled in a dark web of radioactive waste and suspected maritime shipwrecks.
