It's Christmas Eve, and Peter is itching to hit the countryside and claim his gifts from Santa. But upon arrival, he's shocked to find that a sinister Robo-Santa has replaced the real Santa Claus, scheming to ruin the holidays. To complicate matters, Gerda opens a gateway to the Frog Kingdom, abandoning her friends at their most critical moment. The day before Christmas, the Veterinary Board receives a positive A test result from a wild boar shot by a hunter. The young veterinary officer has a disposal machine ready and starts touring the farms in his former home village. The very first farm in Kiuma village is home to the elderly and childless Ants and Minna. For the couple, their domestic animals are a substitute for their missing children and loved ones. At the same time, Ants' nephews arrive with their wives and children. The goal is to quickly deliver the gifts and drive back home to the city. But the farmer Ants announces the situation he is in with his animals, and now he needs the help of his relatives to slaughter the pigs.

A tale of freedom and compassion, set in the 1980s Soviet Estonia, as experienced by a cat and recounted by its owner. Cat Teofrastus lives a homeless life at a train station. One day, he is offered a home by a family living in a nearby countryside house. However, the happy life is short-lived when the cat is taken to the big city and gets lost on the streets. Will Teofrastus find his way back to happiness?
