Laïs Decaster

Second confinement, I film my younger sister Auréa taking her bath. She confides to me her doubts about her future and the difficulty of having love affairs.

One evening, my friend Alyssa confides in me: she has just started a new relationship, but it is already off to a wobbly start! Over the following months, I meet up with her to hear the latest developments. Little by little, her sister and our friends join in, each sharing their takes on the situation.

Auréa carefully cleans her car at a service station. She tells the director, her sister, why she loves it so much, how she impresses her friends at the wheel, but also how she uses it as a flirting tool...

Film student Laïs Decaster trains her camera on her close-knit group of friends to capture daily life in the suburb of Argenteuil, near Paris.

Paris in the middle of August. While looking for a place to dance, Janna and Aurea, two girls in their early twenties, get lost. Their nocturnal wandering in the deserted city leads them to show what they are made of.
