Fred, a raffish safe blower, takes refuge in the Paris Metro after being chased by the henchmen of a shady businessman from whom he has just stolen some documents. While hiding out in the back rooms and conduits of the Metro, Fred encounters a subterranean society of eccentric characters and petty criminals.

Argentine pianist and composer Lalo Schifrin has penned many famous American film and TV scores. But it is the theme to Mission: Impossible that he is perhaps most famous for. The Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France perform the catchy and irregular piece, as well as many other of Schifrin’s works, conducted by Victor Jacob.

A burnt-out New York psychoanalyst exchanges apartments with a Parisian woman. When his patients arrive, they talk to her and then pay. He returns early and becomes a patient as well.

The soundtracks of Michel Legrand, died in 2019, made cinema sublime. With Natalie Dessay and the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, a delightful tribute to the immense composer, recorded at the Maison de la radio et de la musique.

In the summer of 2021, the Sœurs Jumelles festival was launched in Rochefort, a place where music and images come together. A film concert was held there on June 23 in tribute to Michel Legrand and Jacques Demy.
