Paco is a charismatic taco salesman from Guadalajara whose life feels stuck between routine and the desire for more. On Day of the Dead he met Gabby, an assistant at a Los Angeles fashion brand, and after a chaotic night that ended with his taco stand blowing up, she invites him to try his luck in the United States, where Paco faces cultural barriers and conflicts.

Unpopular and down-on-her-luck, Marge is already having a tough time navigating the minefield that is her suburban high school. Neither is ready for such a big change, but the best shot they have at fixing their past and moving forward is together.
