Created by Martha Carrillo and Cristina García, with adaptation by Marissa Garrido, the telenovela was directed by Luis Eduardo Reyes and Carlos Cock Marín. The main theme of the series tells the story about private lives of a group of women who are frequent clients of “Angelica Style”, a prestigious beauty clinic. This group of women, Angelica, Nora, Mercedes, Samantha, Loreto, Vanesa, Lilí, Gabriela, Fernanda and Cecilia, have one thing in common: they have all failed to find the men of their dreams. As the stories blend, their different personalities are shown and their deepest wishes are revealed. They want to find a man who can understand them with freedom and love.

Pobre Diabla is a telenovela by TV Azteca in partnership with Venevision Continental, produced by Fides Velasco and starring Alejandra Lazcano, the presentation of Cristobal Lander in Mexico, Hector Arredondo, Leonardo Daniel, Rafael Sanchez Navarro and antagonistic involvement of Claudia Alvarez. It is adapted from telenovela "Cara Sucia" of Venezuela, which is also a version of the drama "La Gata", written by Ines Rodena.

Created by Eric Vonn, with literary editing by Marcia del Río, the telenovela stars Lucía Méndez, Saúl Lisazo, Fernando Allende, and Bertín Osborne. It was Lucía Méndez's final telenovela as a leading actress for Televisa during this period. The story follows Sofía Hernández, a young woman from a humble mining town who dreams of leaving her difficult life behind.
