In their travels, they encounter Sara, Alex's girlfriend, who planned to move away to the city with him; Emil, an engineer who will be putting a highway through the town; Marta, Emil's daughter; and Toni, one of Emil's co-workers. Circumstances bring Pau and Marta together again when Emil disappears, and Marta finds herself searching for her father.

True story of thirteen totally normal young women that suffered harsh questioning and were put in prison under made up charges of helping the rebellion against Franco back in the 1940s. Despite of their innocence, the thirteen were soon executed without even a trace of evidence of any wrong doing.

Albert Teixidó (Bert) travels to the island of Mallorca after receiving a mysterious letter from his childhood friend Bernardo, who disappeared months earlier in the Tramontana mountains. On the island, he searches for clues to locate his friend, clues that will lead him to reveal forgotten events from the past and coincidences from the present, provoking Bert's obsession with continuing the search. This adaptation of Goethe's The Sorrows of Young Werther offers a chilly and remote view of love and its passions. The setting is changed to Spain, and Werther (Eusebio Poncela) has taken a job tutoring the son of an estranged husband and wife. The boy's mother is a surgeon and therefore a rather uncommon woman for her society. She and Werther gradually become romantically involved, and his feelings for her begin to run much deeper than is apparent on the surface.
