In the late 1970s, at the height of the Argentine civil-military dictatorship, a group of more than 60 Argentines who had been exiled in various European countries left their homes once again to move with their families to Mozambique, a recently independent former Portuguese colony mired in a terrible civil war. Mili and Roque are a married couple going through a dramatic financial crisis. To cope, they decide to turn to Mili's cousin, Olga. Olga quickly arrives to take care of the problem, but there's a catch: Olga has died on the way in a car accident. Mili convinces Roque to practice the art of necromancy to get the money they need. But playing with the dead has its consequences.

Horacio, an extremely misogynistic and sexist businessman, arranges a blind date with Olga, a pregnant woman. Horacio suggests they spend a day outdoors, away from the city, and Olga accepts. However, once there, Horacio is knocked out and kidnapped by Olga, who confesses her true intentions: to subject him to a unique experiment to bring about a complete change in him.

Susana is a woman who has lived alone and penniless since her husband left, at least that's what she tells her neighbors. Susana clings to the memories of the trips she used to take with her husband to Europe and refuses to face the harsh reality that surrounds her, such as her lack of money to pay the rent.
