Elena, a Polish teenage girl living in Belgium, has to go with her parents to the family planning center, so that she can translate for them. But what she thought to be a simple formality soon confronts her to the harsh side of adulthood.

Maysan and Iyad, a Syrian couple, work at a Breton fish auction and with their daughter seem to constitute a happy family. They have just been informed their residence permits have been approved.
