USSR, 1979. A guy meets a girl at a party. The girl is a hairdresser, the guy helps his father at a meat-processing plant. Soon a son is born and the couple become a family. The beginning of 2004. The boy has grown into a lyric poet but, nevertheless, follows the father’s footsteps and works at the meat-processing plant. A reflection on happiness gets him into a dead end, from which, apparently, there is no way out. But here in his life enters the accountant Liubov, or Love, and there comes the time of the wedding…

The life of a middle-aged, lonely businessman is filled with children’s dreams about outer space. The only opportunity for him to go to stars is an MRT device, only there the hero feels zero gravity. In the attempt to find as effective a remedy for his “flights”, the man ends up in a deadlock.

The film's protagonist, a hearing-impaired high school student named Styopa, is in love with Yulia, with whom he studies at the same school. At graduation, he will have to make an important choice for his fate: to confess his feelings to her or not. The film presents two parallel plot developments, demonstrating alternative outcomes of their relationship depending on Styopa's decision: a long-term relationship leading to the creation of a family, or a breakup. The voice-over in poetic form reveals the inner world of the characters and the peculiarities of communication with people with hearing impairments.

Fate brings Faith, Hope and Love together at a party. This chance meeting will be the beginning of a friendship that will force them to look at their lives from a new unknown side.
