Tim Macmillan

A momentary lapse of motion as Macmillan cuts a cross-section through the city’s day. Mobile photography or freeze film? Small epiphanies and the human trace, whatever the terms.

Time-slice reconstructions of three reported incidents in which people and supposedly friendly animals meet badly: a postman kills a dog, a dog attacks a child, a horse kills a cyclist. An animate! commission for Channel 4 and the Arts Council of England.
