Two teachers. An obscure pair of parents. A boy they want to save at all costs. Germany, 1983: Unable to find an explanation for a pupil's strange behavior, teachers Christina and Robert pay a visit to the child's parents. But from the moment they enter the family home, they can't shake off this strange feeling. The feeling that something is wrong with this house - and the family.

Louis is an amateur photographer. On his walk through the woods he is approached by a mysterious girl. Fascinated by her, it is only later that he realizes that he is not in any ordinary forest.
