Based on the novel of the same name by Aliya Bukhari, Deewar-e-Shab tells the story of three generations of courtesans' day-to-day struggles in the previously lively Sitara Mahal.

Saim and Zobia are neighbors and close childhood friends whose friendship turns into love. Their families do not trust them to make a sensible decision at their ages and continuously try to come between them.
