The life of Afife Jale, the first Turkish female theater artist, is recounted. Since childhood, Afife has been a free-spirited girl who loves her freedom. However, she lives in a conservative family environment. When she turned twelve, she was forced to wear a veil despite her objections. With the support of her family elders, her father allowed her to study painting at the School of Fine Arts. However, Afife's heart was set on theater. Initially, she staged plays for her friends on a small stage she had set up inside her home, performing the plays of the Afife Company. Her greatest obstacle was her father. With the support of her grandfather, the Pasha, and her childhood friend and lover, Dr. Ziya, Afife stood up to her father. She could not suppress her desire for much longer.

The story begins in a mental hospital and continues with Tahsin and Rıfat lying to the doctor that they are well and leaving the hospital. As soon as they leave the hospital, the two go to Rıfat's mother's house to surprise her. However, when they arrive home, they learn that the neighborhood is undergoing urban renewal and that, like everyone else, their mother has sold her house.

Corporal Muhsin is a sharp shooter who previously fought in the Balkan War. When mobilization is declared again, he joins the war alongside his brother Hasan. The two brothers support each other in the fight against the enemy.

Famous screenwriter Mithat and famous actress Zeynep are working on a murder script for a new feature film. Things get complicated when the subject in the script starts to happen in reality.

Hasan, an engineer who returned to the village from America after years with his child, young and beautiful wife, wants to establish a dairy factory to save the peasant who exploited Salih Aga from poverty. The villagers get money for this job.
