Lu Hsiao-Fen

A girl, who was sold by her stepfather at the age of 14, has had been a prostitute for 14 years. Her family, despite enjoying a comfortable life with her help, avoids her. She thus decides to have a son of her own and succeeds by sheer determination. She is now hopeful that her son will have a life better than hers.

The Lady Avenger is about a young woman who is raped by four men and then taken advantage by a fifth. Abandoned by her fiancé, she strikes back at the five wolves. Wild and exciting, filled with nasty violence and highly creative killing sequences, this is Taiwanese exploitation cinema at its furious finest.

A widow by the name of Lee Jiu Jin, willingly sold herself to a farway outskirts village without knowing that she is to be shared by 7 men, so as to raise the money for her son's wedding. As these villagers are extremely poor, the men could not afford to keep a wife. This kind of transaction was common in China for women to be sold as brides, but the Government intend to put a stop to such practices by enforcing laws which results in the exile of lawbreakers. Bearing this in mind, Lee and her 7 husbands lived in constant fear of being caught and as for Lee the sufferings and hardships were more than she could bear. As the time passes, Lee grew to understand all 7 men's background, and her hatred for them turn into pity. This relationship at last ended in tragedy.

A group of young people are helped to illegally immigrate from China to Hong Kong by a local gang, but when they arrive they are immediately abused by the gang and paid little for the tasks they are given.
