The town of Kahaplyk is on the brink of complete disaster: elections again, the same corrupt mayor, the same old story… Five Instagram stars arrive to “fix” the mayor’s reputation. What awaits them are thrilling adventures, a real conspiracy, and, of course, a story of true love!

The story begins with an ordinary family celebrating New Year at their house. Having seen an announcement on TV about the intergalactic song contest "Cosmovision", Masha immediately decides to take part in it. Her family supports her and goes with her and the aliens to the contest. There, the earthlings meet the stars of intergalactic show business: the legendary singer Diva, the hero Zed, the talented artist Fortiano and the cunning pop singer Baron-Star, who is planning something terrible against the "Cosmovision" participant Masha.

The film is set in the 1960s, in a remote provincial town. Ivan is a model worker, a lathe operator at a factory, raising his son Alexei alone. Problems arise in the family: Ivan's beloved wife has a huge debt and faces prison. And Alexei is humiliated by hooligans in front of his beloved girlfriend. His father finds an unusual way out of these situations: he makes a gun himself (so that Leshka can take revenge on the hooligans), then goes with his son to rob a cafe to help Masha cover the shortfall. Gradually, Alexei gets a taste for it; he likes having power over people and commits his first murder. Suddenly, Ivan realizes that he has raised a killer with his own hands.

Sometimes distance, career and work separate people forever. But it only last a moment for truly close people. It may happen that a cute fluffy amulet will bring the people together and make some of them show humor, nobility, loyalty and mutual help, while others will be just funny, silly and dangerous... After going through separation, a series of obstacles, tests and temptations, the magic of love must win!

The film takes place on the territory of Ukraine. In the autumn of 1922, Volokh's gang committed another heinous crime. The investigation of the brutal murder of a rural teacher has been entrusted to district police officers led by Tikhon Globa.

Colonel Karas lives with his wife, Larisa, a gynaecologist and their son, Andrey in a large house in the city. Apart from his demanding job in the military, the colonel loves to hunt and fish, which takes him away from home for long periods of time. However, it is his love of other women that is the real cause of his absences and his marital problems. With this example to follow, it is no surprise that the children are also proving unlucky in love. Daughter Veronica has fallen in love with the wrong man while son Andrey is following in his father's footsteps and gaining a reputation as a ladies' man. When the colonel is told by his superiors that his family is to be relocated to a small flat, he decides the easiest solution would be to marry Andrey off.

On New Year's Eve, Denis tearfully asks his friend Yuri to replace him at work - to become Santa Claus. Yuri agrees, because his friend guarantees that he will have to do almost nothing. But on the first working day everything goes wrong, and the newly-made Santa Claus has to get out of it. Unexpectedly for everyone, and especially for himself, he copes perfectly. This was the beginning of a successful tandem - Snow Maiden Vika and Santa Claus Yuri. Soon the life of colleagues will change dramatically, because in addition to ridiculous situations at work, they will have to endure and personal dramas that will bring them very close. Yes, so that soon they will not be able to live without each other. True, to admit to each other in their feelings all the time lacks courage. But, they say that dreams come true on New Year's Eve....
