Alfredo is a homeless man who happens upon a truck full of fruit that appears to be abandoned and takes the opportunity to eat some. Once he's satisfied his hunger, he discovers a fortune inside one of the crates. It's the loot hidden by some thieves who crash during their getaway. Frightened, he hides the money under the church statue and confesses what happened to the local priest. The situation worsens when the robbers reappear in town.

Spain, late 19th century. When, in a time of great political instability, Flora, a beautiful young woman, starts working in a ministry doing a job that supposedly only a man can do, a great scandal breaks out.

Afther their wedding ceremony, Fernanda and Cosme Martínez go to a luxury hotel to consummate. They receive there some gifts and they find one fabulous diamant bracalet with a note for Fernanda thanking her for unfforgetable nights. Cosme feel jelause and Fernanda offended and during their wedding night they go from one place to another to find out the misunderstanding.

The lawyer Angela Goñi is working in two cases at once: an man that wants to take to Pilo, a young orphan, tp a protection child school. And Mili, another young woman neglected by his father, a businessman, whose aunt Teresa wants to claim through the courts. Taking advantage of the amazing similarity between the girls, the lawyer makes many things to try to resolve the situation as happy as possible.
