In the late 30s, the family of the sailor Salah Hazoum arrives in the city of Latakia coming from Alexandria. His son Saeed searches for him in vain after he hears many rumors about his disappearance. The son decides to become a sailor like his father and works on a boat with Captain Abdosh.
