In recent years, Viktor Pelevin has been releasing a novel every year, each with a circulation of about 100 thousand copies - this is one of the best results in the country. At the same time, he has not given interviews for almost 20 years, does not appear in public and, according to rumors, does not live in Russia. Film director Rodion Chepel makes an attempt to combat hoaxes. To do this, he studied the archives, the early works of Viktor Pelevin and interviewed people who knew him.

Egor meets at the bus stop with Marina. She is much older, more experienced, and for some reason immediately invites the guy to her home. Romantic date promises sex. But from the threshold everything goes according to plan.

The film shows the whole background of the new reality that the world faced in the spring of 2020. Paradoxically, the most severe ordeal in the last 20 years has brought people together, while dividing them. Loneliness became a catalyst for internal changes for the six Russian-speaking characters of the film from different countries. Distanced from the usual life, for a month they filmed video diaries and learned to interact with the world in the new conditions of strict restrictions. Everything that is shown on the screen is pure improvisation, non-stop life, sincere feelings without censorship. The truthfulness of what is happening is emphasized by one of the most innovative technological formats — screenlife.
