If Bugs Bunny were to direct his signature inquiry--"What's up, doc?"--toward the modern-day Warner Bros. creative team, he wouldn't be far off. For 1001 Rabbit Tales, they've doctored up a batch of classic cartoons featuring the carrot muncher and his bumbling comrades and bundled them, near seamlessly, into a feature-length film. Here's the premise: Bugs and Daffy, both book salesmen, are competing to sell the most copies of a kids' book. Instead of burrowing a beeline to his sales territory (he should have made a left at Albuquerque), Bugs ends up in the castle of Yosemite Sam, here a harem-leading honcho. Sam's pain-in-the-spurs son, Prince Abalaba, needs somebody to read him stories; Bugs, who'd sooner take the job than suffer the alternative, that involving being boiled in oil, signs on.

The Peanuts gang, including Snoopy and Woodstock, have gone off to summer camp. After a few days of the usual activities, they all participate in a river-rafting race. Battling treacherous rapids, wild animals and cheating bullies from a rival tent, the teams make their way downriver to the finish line.

Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, Huckleberry Hound and their friends get lost and decide to spend Christmas by vising Casper, the friendly ghost. But soon they encounter a not-so-friendly ghost.

Clouseau receives a tip that the elusive smuggler, Captain Clamity, who looks like a clam with eyes, arms, and legs, is laying anchor off the French coast. Clouseau and Sergeant Deux-Deux make a number of unsuccessful attempts to board Clamity's ship, with Clouseau going down to the sea bottom every time

Charlie Brown's team is forced to play against Peppermint Patty's in their field that has been converted into a lush garden.

Charlie Brown criticizes Snoopy for being too domesticated and soft. In response, Snoopy drifts into a dream where he imagines himself as a sled dog in the Alaskan wilderness.

Told in flashback, the plot has teenage (but still nearsighted) red-headed Magoo picks up his date "Melba" (a kangaroo) from her home (in a circus) and go on a picnic.

The Inspector ineffectually tries to protect the Commissioner from a mad bomber's revenge campaign.
