Marilou and Philippe prepare for their future retirement in Portugal. But their daughter separates and a whole procession of solicitations falls on them.

Set in France during the struggle for Algerian independence, Messaoud's mother is terminally ill and his father, needing to work long hours in the factory, can't look after him, so decides to put him and his older brother Abdel in foster care. Sent to the countryside, Abdel has to work on a farm, but Messaoud is taken in by a childless woman, who conceals his Arab origins from her fiercely Gaullist ex-army husband. Re-named Michel/Michou, and with his hair comically dyed blond, the young boy quickly steals the hearts of both foster-parents, and eventually is instrumental in saving their troubled marriage.

In Paris, Astrid and Raphaëlle discover a human eye at the bottom of a jar of onions. At the same time, in Bordeaux, Alexandra Ehle investigates a corpse from which both eyes have been removed. When the judge decides to connect the two pieces of the puzzle, Astrid, Raphaëlle, and Alexandra realize they have to cooperate, for better or for worse. On the menu: family mystery and orphan disease, but also a little trip down memory lane, muscadet wine, a bike chase, and... an oyster mushroom.

Clément, a young entrepreneur, is a happy father: married to the beautiful Alex, he is also the happy father of "Petit-Bonheur", his son. Despite his 30 years, he can't live without his father, Paul, a musician and widower, with whom he has a very close relationship. In addition to this exclusive relationship, the latter also takes care of his grandson on a regular basis. Two points which are not without provoking a certain jealousy in Alex. One day, "Petit-Bonheur", under Paul's care, falls down a staircase. At the hospital, where the child undergoes X-rays, Clément can't stand the wait for the exams and reprimands his father harshly. After this incident, the news is fortunately good: "Petit-Bonheur" has nothing serious and finds with joy the arms of his parents. Clément then realizes that his father has disappeared.
