Farhan, who is in his second year of university studies, returns to his village. During that semester break, Farhan is engaged to Khairina, his neighbor and girlfriend since secondary school. However, a week after their engagement ceremony, Husin, Farhan's father, dies while returning from the sea. Since Husin has been the one responsible for supporting the family, Farhan decides to stop his studies in order to take care of his mother and make way for his younger brother, Syakir, to begin his university education. Throughout Syakir's time at university, Farhan works tirelessly to ensure that his younger brother does not face any financial difficulties. Besides that, Farhan also supports Khairina, who is studying at the same university as Syakir.

The story follows Alisha (Ummi Nazeera), a village girl who faces a serious test of love from her boyfriend, Amzar (Izzue Islam). Initially, their relationship is very good and harmonious because Alisha helps Amzar's family greatly while Amzar is seeking job opportunities as a lawyer. However, everything changes when Amzar passes his interview and is accepted to work as a lawyer at a law firm. Alisha and Amzar are extremely excited when Amzar's dream of becoming a lawyer comes true. Alisha buys Amzar various types of shirts so he feels comfortable at work. In his excitement, Amzar successfully handles his first case. The two of them celebrate Amzar's success at their favorite restaurant. Amzar also proposes to Alisha and Alisha accepts his proposal without hesitation, overjoyed. After they finish eating, heavy rain begins to fall. They quickly rush to Alisha's car and start heading home.

Shaza has been given a complete set of corpse washing supplies by her mother on her birthday and her mother wants Shaza to carry the shroud with her wherever she goes.

Husin has been working in Singapore for some time and decides to return to his hometown, Banana Village. Upon returning, he feels that his neighbour Mak Limah is strange as she does not speak nor sleep. He then tells patrons at Pak Munawer's coffee shop that Mak Limah might be a ghost. Pak Abu decides they should investigate further but when they go to her house, she is already a rotting corpse! However, things get more interesting when the village is haunted by a strange occurrences, despite the burial of Mak Limah.

Gol & Gincu Vol. 2 tells a story about Zakiah (Zak) and Zakiah (Yaya) who are two self-centered University students with the same name but very different personalities. A story of a family recorded through Fatimah's view of family strife and love. She didn't understand why her mother hated Jalil so much so that her brother fall hard after her father's death. She also saw the success of her elder sister and her elder brother studying at a boarding school. All of this turmoil was positively viewed by the author and thus reunited in harmony with all the family members who are now adults. A very compelling story and loaded with pure values.
