This romantic drama focuses on the romance between a 14-year-old mathematics genius and a 19-year-old All-American volleyball player.

Scott, John and Suzie quit their boring jobs and depart L.A. for Alaska to pursue their dream of their own salmon fishing business. They soon find that life in Alaska is more difficult than expected as they are forced to abandon their plans and make desperate choices just to survive.

Half-hour documentary based on the work of Northwest author Ivan Doig and his "brother" of yesteryear, Northwest pioneer James G. Swann. Broadcast November 24, 1982. Included in "Best of the Northwest Films" exhibition for Bumbershoot. Winner of the Critics Award for Cinematography at the 16th Annual Northwest Film and Video Seminar, 1983.
