After her parents’ separation, Carmela and her mother move into her grandmother’s home. As Carmela struggles to adjust to her new reality, she longs to spend more time at her father’s place, a visual artist she both admires and idolizes. In her highschool you can feel the independentist environment, demonstrations, strikes... are usuals between the students organizations. In this moment her dad starts to work int the Basque Government, between other things he has to go with body guards. This situation will change Jones life and she will have to learn to live between two worlds that she doesn't understand yet, and to understand that not everything is black or white.

Merche rents his only son's room to Günther, a german youngster. She'll start to see him as a possibility to refill some empty spaces in her life.

On her birthday, Carmela, a 12-year-old girl, is forced to meet her father in a family meeting centre, due to the case of gender violence that he has brought up against her mother.
