This movie adapted from vertical and horizontal novel entitled Tao di qingy priest. The movie tells about a journey of Tao from qingsan temple that alocated in the mountain. The master we can say the teacher of Tao ordered him to do a journey to Li village that allow him to go out side to find the thruth also understood the real life.

Tianpeng, a fallen divine general, is sent to the mortal world as punishment for breaking celestial laws. Tasked with redeeming himself by filling a "Merit Book" through heroic deeds, he assumes the name Bian Zhuang. While battling demons and helping those in need, he embarks on a series of adventures, facing ancient threats and becoming the hero of many folk tales.

The film revolves around Li Jing in his teenage years. Li Jing, who lost his mother in childhood, was sent to Kunlun Mountain to learn Taoism by his father due to lack of control when he grew up.

A driver Ma Xiaojun, who has been transporting mental patients for years, accidentally loses a mental patient outside his lover's shop during one of his job trips. At their wits' end and afraid of taking responsibility Ma and Xiao Feng come up with a daring idea to catch some customers and send them to the hospital as mental patients.

Song Yang, the sole survivor and witness of an unsolved case, has spent over a decade searching for the killer, Jiangbei Candao, who murdered his grandfather, Song Zhaolin.
