A German Platoon is explored through the brutal fighting of the Battle of Stalingrad. After half of their number is wiped out and they're placed under the command of a sadistic captain, the platoon lieutenant leads his men to desert. The platoon members attempt escape from the city, now surrounded by the Soviet Army.

1975, Swiss Alps: In a remote mountain village, a beautiful and mysterious woman shows up. Only the village policeman takes care of the strange woman and tries to find out who she is. There are hints that she came from the Höhenalp Alp, where herdsmen do unthinkable things to get the company of women. Many dark truths are revealed that should better have remained hidden. A tragedy of lust, insanity and murder is brought to a seemlingly pure and perfect world. It is the beginning of a nightmare of religious insanity, hypocrisy, abuse and belief in demons, who destroys a young family and brings a whole village to destruction.

What do the Pope, a suitcase full of baking powder, four naive friends and the organ mafia have to do with each other? They are all part of a macabre and grotesque story with a lot of heart and a good dose of black humor. Sandpit friends Rico, Sigi, Dave and Glotze dream of cashing in big time. However, they hadn't planned on falling into the clutches of a drug baron and shady organ dealer. Their only chance is to play along with their adversaries - at least until they realize which heart really matters...

The film takes us back in time, to a relatively recent yet forgotten period in history, when many women like Lina were forced to fold in the face of unfair and blinkered authorities. The victim of an administrative internment aimed at re-educating her after her so-called "depraved behaviour", Lina finds herself completely abandoned, confused and humiliated. In present day, when she is 60 years old, for the first time in her life, our brave protagonist can finally "spill the beans", thus freeing herself of a burden that has threatened to destroy her all these years.

Sandra is new to the neighbourhood and she's shy. The girls in her class don't make it easy for her either. She doesn't fit into the cool clique around Nadja and Isa at all. But when she meets 14-year-old Mike who lives in the house across the street, all her problems seem to be forgotten. She falls head over heels in love with him. However Sandra doesn't know that Nadja, too, has had a crush on Mike for some time and Nadja doesn't miss any opportunity to score points with her feminine charms - Nevertheless, Sandra and Mike are becoming closer. But their young love is soon put to the test. One day, they observe Mike's mother with a stranger. Mike is outraged. He can't understand that only a year after his sister died, his family will now be completely destroyed. But Sandra is staggered as well. How can she explain to Mike that the stranger is her father? Afraid of losing Mike, she tries everything to keep the matter secret. But by doing so, she becomes entangled in contradictions. ...
