Since his wife died ten years ago, Karl has been raising his daughter Nic alone. But everything changes when editor-in-chief Sonja moves in next door and Karl unceremoniously turns the two apartments into a shared flat following an accident. The story centers on tough police officer Alex Steiner, whose brother Tommi is shot in an assassination attempt and ends up in the emergency room of the sharp-tongued young doctor Rita. While Alex tangles with a cold-blooded underground organization in his hunt for those responsible, Rita discovers that the bullet in the young man's body isn't the only reason for his condition, which is deteriorating by the minute. Alex and Rita find themselves in a race against time, and with every new clue, they get closer not only to the diagnosis and the perpetrator, but also to each other.

Weimar, 1921. The life of 20-year-old Lotte Brendel seems to be predetermined. The Weimar Bauhaus, under the direction of the visionary Walter Gropius, aspires not only to combine arts and crafts, but also to find the place for the "New Man". In the student Paul Seligmann Lotte finds a supporter and her great love.

But then his buddy Henne tells him that he has been looking for Boxer's great love Kathrin, and what's more: he has learned that Kathrin has a daughter - and she looks remarkably like Boxer...

The film starts with the main character Laura, a young woman with advanced cancer, entering quite upset the home of her parents and claiming to have stopped chemo therapy and having left her husband. The worried parents call the other three adult daughters into the house and they arrive one by one. For the first time in 6 years the entire family is united again. The characters are drawn as tensions rise from old conflicts and as the situation sinks in that Laura might be terminally ill. The movie eventually shifts from a lively sometimes comical beginning into the serious theme of dying and does handle this quite tactfully and moving. While the film touches on many areas surrounding death (including religion, graveyard, care, eutanasia) the main focus is on the transformation of the characters that are thrown out of their busy lifes into this situation, eventually accepting it and dealing with it.

Jakob and Lorenz are brothers who couldn't be more different: While Jakob is a successful, dogged star chef, Lorenz is not particularly successful in his job or financial matters, but clearly has more fun in life. One day, when he persuades his brother to visit their mother, who is suffering from Alzheimer's, the siblings set off in their car, picking up a punkette who is traveling as a hitchhiker. It is an enlightening journey for all of them through the northern German wasteland.

Alphateam – Die Lebensretter im OP was a German hospital drama television series which aired on Sat.1 between 1996 and 2005. The series covered the work of a team of doctors, nurses and caregivers in the fictional Hamburg Hansa Clinic, located in the Altona district.

Its original title, GSG 9 - Ihr Einsatz ist ihr Leben, is a pun on the word Einsatz. Einsatz can be translated as "mission, stake, bet, dedication", depending on the context. Thus, it can be translated as, GSG 9 - Their Mission Is Their Life or GSG 9 - They Put Their Lives at Stake.

Lasko – Die Faust Gottes is a German action television series, an RTL co-production with ORF. First aired on 18 June 2009, it is set in a monastery and involves martial arts. Fifteen 45 minute episodes have been produced as of October 2011 in two series. The series was shot in the Naumburg an der Saale area, Pforta, Schloss Neuenburg and Königstein Fortress.
