During a scorching summer in a Belgian-Dutch border village, eight teenagers play games of discovery to break the listless monotony. After 17-year-old Kevin is released from prison for violent behavior he goes to live with his aunt and her family including Sammy, his cousin. While apprenticing as a plumber he starts to integrate with Sammy’s group of friends who are still in high school. A frustrated judge (and father) shamelessly ignores the legal benefit of the doubt, even tricks Rob while in jail. Nelle discovers more then one sick truth.
