So everyone is actually prepared to make a 99euro-film. but "99euro-films" is more. It is the proof that German films can also be wild, new, modern, funny, political and entertaining. And all that in 80 minutes. 12 young German filmmakers come together, inspire exciting young actors and go: have an idea and simply film it. Just do it and be independent.

Nina, a mentally ill teenage orphan, starts a new job as a garden cleaner when she meets Toni. They fall in love but soon Toni starts betraying Nina. Meanwhile, Francoise is picked up at a Berlin psychiatric hospital by her husband, Pierre. After spotting Nina, Francoise believes that she has found her kidnapped daughter Marie, but no one believes her.

Produced and directed by seven Munich Film School students, Honolulu takes place not in Hawaii, but inside of a rural town just outside of Munich, Germany. Several vignettes, lasting approximately 10 to 15 minutes each, are connected by one of the town’s public bus routes, outside of which two men booze the night away while waiting for the bus to make its rounds.

10 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, at the "Perfect Sight" campsite, located on the Island of Rügen on the German Baltic Sea coast: the former state property has been taken over by an ex-officer of the German army. Now the new moved in West German rules the site. Anyone who opposes him is banned. With a little imagination and a few tricks, he wanted to make the deal of a lifetime. It's just as well that Claus Oehlke has robbed a bank and is only throwing the money around to impress his wife. But she only has eyes for the former GDR crooner Michi Fanselow, the dream of her youth.

Linked by rehearsals for “City as Prey,” three episodes chronicle loneliness, friendship, and survival.

Martin is the ambitious one in the family. He is poised to start on his doctorate, when he is diagnosed with testicular cancer and all his future plans begin to unravel. The removal of one testicle reduces the most immediate threat, but the cancer has already spread and Martin's doctor argues for an operation that would save him, but could also castrate him.

Heidi M. is in her late forties and has a small store in the pulsating center of Berlin. She goes out in the evenings with her friend Jacqui, but when she is unexpectedly confronted with romantic love, old wounds are opened.

The musically talented, but socially challenged Henry (14) arrives at a private boarding school for music students at the beginning of a new school year. There, he unexpectedly discovers his fascination with playing the organ. From the fascination, a general love arise for the instrument, the playing of which offer Henry a refuge from the bullying that his fellow students puts him through. His teacher Ms. Schmidt recognizes his talent. Her growing interest in Henry, however, further worsens his position with his roommates Erik, Mik and Sebi. Erik feels that his status as the school's prodigy is threatened, his talent as an organ player has saved him from relegation for years. Erik rules the school and is together with Melanie, who has had Henry under her spell, since he first arrived at the school. Erik and his minions Sebi and Mik, do all they can to make Henry's life a living hell.

A teenage car thief is incarcerated in a home for the hard-to-educate. He gets a second chance when he's offered a job at a car dealership that cares for juvenile delinquents. There, he is confronted with his past and becomes the target of a youth gang that wants to recruit him for a major heist.

Her relationship with her own mother, a singing teacher, is tense, and she’s also increasingly annoyed with her job. Meeting David offers her an opportunity.
