December 31st Express was supposed to be an ordinary, quiet rail run, at least that's what conductor Mykola Ivanovych thought. However, a comically chaotic group of passengers including a runaway bride and angry accountant upset a retiring train conductor's peaceful last journey.

By chance, on Christmas Eve, completely different passengers with their own problems and dreams board the same train, and now they all have to arrange Christmas dinner right in the dining car. While waiting for the first star, all the passengers come together as one big Ukrainian family. And miracles begin to happen.

As a result of a terrible car accident, young Ukrainian athlete Oksana Boturchuk suffers several serious injuries, almost losing her eyesight. However, after long rehabilitation and a returning to incredible training, she is able to conquer a gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Beijing.

The unusual adventure of two sisters – 26-year-old Margo and 38-year-old Katerina. They have never been close since childhood. As adults, they hardly communicate and know little about each other's lives. However, unexpected difficulties in Kateryna's life, which effectively knock her off her feet, and Margo's uncontrollable desire to win the heart of her beloved man bring the two sisters together. To carry out their plans, the sisters decide to switch places—Margo will pretend to be 38, and Katerina will become 26. The two women, who are complete opposites, must radically change their lifestyles, appearances, and habits, all for the sake of becoming happy and achieving their desired goals.
