Madam So then withheld an application by Stone to increase the budget of the SDU to upgrade their equipment. Stone of course felt uneasy about this decision. Fatso told Hon that a gang of seven criminals with heavy firearms was planning to rob a factory. To be safe, Ann ordered the SDU to standby for any emergency. The assault team successfully shot or captured five gangsters after their robbery. While they were celebrating their success, the remaining two gangsters returned and opened fire on them. The SDU then stepped in and killed the two gangsters. Madam So had no choice but to shelve the idea of an assault team and approved the new SDU budget proposed by Stone.

One Nite in Mongkok

A gangster's son is accidentally killed during a drunken dispute with a rival gang, and Officer Milo's task force is assigned to the case. He soon learns that a hitman has been hired to take out the rival gang leader. While Milo and his crew desperately try to find and stop the hired gun, fearing all-out war in the streets, Lai Fu, a smart but inexperienced killer from a small town in the mainland, arrives in Hong Kong to do his job.

The story in "Snake Charmer" is about some mystery murders that take place in Hong Kong where the victims are found poisoned by a very rare and deadly toxin. Inspector Chi-Wai Man (played by Jackie Lui Chung-yin) is assigned to the case and is working on a tight deadline to crack the case.

The Winter Melon Tale

ICAC Investigators 2022

Ten years ago, Tong Waichong and Shum Aoming joined the ICAC together. They were trained together and they were brothers. Aoming was injured in a private act, and he resigned soon after, and has not been heard from since. Ten years later, Waichong has been promoted to the chief investigation officer, and led his subordinates such as Lee Zhunyi to maintain integrity and justice. When Waichong investigates a suspected bank employee corruption case, he discovers that Aoming is involved. It turned out that Aoming, relying on his past investigation experience in the ICAC, helped the criminal group to avoid the investigation of various criminal and anti-corruption agencies for many times.
