Buenos Aires at the end of the millennium a young filmmaker hopeless about their future decides to film his last act.

Young María, the embodiment of tango, leaves the outskirts of Buenos Aires and tries her luck in the chaotic downtown, where she triumphs in dark places ruled by crime and debauchery, unaware that a menacing presence stalks her, seeking her doom and death.

An old tango singer tries to contact his teenage son. A woman who is death or the Devil appears to him and asks him to sell his soul to connect with his son again.

The story takes us on a journey of tributes to the greatest bandoneon player of Buenos Aires, Aníbal Troilo, through interviews, musical sequences, dance and the powerful presence of football. The film intertwines fiction and testimonies to reveal to us a brilliant musician.
