# A Story of Reality Among the Bajau Laut Community A story of reality in a water village community inhabited by the Bajau Laut people in Sabah. In its early days, the residents here had no religion and were visited by several Islamic preachers. One of the preachers who came here was Ustaz Yusof. The prayer house he built was burned down and he died along with several people who were praying there. One of those who died was the mother of Udin, the wife of Marwan.
